ISO 37301

What is ISO 37301 ?

ISO 37301 is an international standard for compliance management systems. The standard was published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in 2021. 

ISO is an independent, non-governmental international organization with a membership of 165 national standards bodies. Through its members, it brings together experts to share knowledge and develop voluntary, consensus-based, market relevant international standards that support innovation and provide solutions to global challenges. 

ISO 37301 specifies requirements and provides guidelines for establishing, developing, implementing, evaluating, maintaining and improving an effective compliance management system within an organization. This standard is applicable to all types of organizations regardless of the type, size and nature of the activity, as well as whether the organization is from the public, private or non-profit sector.
