François was for the last thirty years a leading figure of the anti-corruption action of the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris, contributing to the drafting of numerous ant-corruption documents of the organization. He is a former General Counsel and Secretary General of the oil, gas and chemicals company PetroFina. He served for six years as lay judge in the Commercial Court of Brussels. He functions as facilitator in collective actions against corruption and in particular in the Energy Sector Integrity Forum.
